VOLUNTEER CORNER
The Fourth Monkey by J.D. Barker is an attention grabber from the minute I started it. A murder mystery that keeps you on your toes. It will throw you for a turn when you least expect it. His second book, The Fifth to Die, is just as good. Barker knows how to keep the reader's attention for the entire book, never leaving a boring moment. Kylie Rose

Kylie is our youngest volunteer. She is very active at the bookstore and our sales. She often comes in before her shift at the store to organize a section. Her favorite section to organize is Biographies and History which she has straightened out many times. Thank you so much for all your hard work, Kylie!

VOLUNTEER CORNER
I have collected a stockpile of wonderful children’s books from Friends Down Under Bookstore. I have given my grand daughter a new book each week, since the schools and libraries have closed. She is learning to read, so having access to new material each week has been fun. I also gave some books for older kids to my friend so she can do the same thing with her grand children. We all have our favorite books, but it’s a treat to have something new to enjoy. Keep reading! Hope to see you soon at Friends Down Under Bookstore. Pat Nicholl

Pat has volunteered with he Friends for years and is a Board Member as well. She stocks the 'self serve' areas at the Ewald and Central Branches of the GPPL every week, helps at the store, special events, and sales. She has organized the Books, Bags, & Bagel event and she hopes that the Friends will be able to bring this event to you as soon as possible. Thank you Pat for all your work and dedication!

Great job Pat!!! 📕

Pat has been a great mentor to me during the last few years volunteering with the Friends. Where there is a need, Pat will step in every time! Miss seeing you, Pat!
